Your About Me Page is HUGE when it comes to connecting with others. According to my google analytics, my about me page is my most highly trafficked page. It is where people go when they want to know who you are and what you’re about. It’s important to get it right and make a good impression.

Great Video Mike! Very important tips!
    Thanks :)

    Dear Michael,

Just goes to show that I can always learn something new! I worked really hard on my page and it is fairly current, so I came to your post thinking that there wasn’t much to learn. My Bad! I haven’t heard about adding photos on an ongoing basis nor have I heard of putting in a distinct section for business philosophy.

Mike, I love both of these ideas and will be incorporating both. What I learned most, however, is that I always have something new to learn and every person has something fresh and new to offer!

    Thanks for being YOU!

    Hi Michael

This comment really relates to a video you posted on You Tube regarding Onlywire. I would like to thank you, it was very helpful although I had loads of problems setting it up. I have done it now and tried it out but I don’t seem to get the email from them and I had quite a few fail but on none of them did I get the finalize button.

However despite these little hiccups your video was a big help.

Great blog by the way : – )

    To your success

    Sofia

Great advice. I agree that the About Me page is one of the most important pages on a blog because it is the one that shows you are a real person. I think it also makes sense to go back and update it regularly, because we are all works in progress.

    Hi Michael,

I just changed my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org so I could make a better presentation, have more widgets and plug-ins to make the site better for my followers as well as myself.

I like the way your site looks and my blog is a work in progress. Thanks for the great ideas.

    All the best,

    Alan

    Hi Michael,

I didn’t know why, but when I started my blog it seemed important to tell others where I’m coming from. Now I know why it’s important.

I should probably expand mine, but for a brief about me page, I’m happy with it for the time being. As I upgrade other aspects of my blog, I’ll upgrade that too.

    Thanks for the great content,

    Alan
